BENJI recently graduated from the nation’s premier boarding arts high school, Interlochen Arts Academy, studying Interdisciplinary Arts with a concentration in Music Business. BENJI is continuing their undergraduate education at Ohio University, studying Music Production and Recording Industry Studies on a Pre-Entertainment Law track. Their debut EP, “hypnagogia,” was released through HOLLYWOODLAND Music Group, LLC, on May 19, 2023. When listening to the EP, you may be able to identify sources of inspiration from musicians such as Laufey, FKA Twigs, Weyes Blood, Lucrecia Dalt, and Fiona Apple.
BENJI’s goal is not to appeal to everyone with their music but to bring authenticity, human connection, and light to those that need it most.
